COLLEGE WRITING STUDENT, FALL 2021
LARK CHANG-YEH
she/they
An Art Practice and Psychology double major, this college writing student is particularly interested in the ways that technology influences sociological phenomena and social psychology. They found a deep interest in researching true crime, although they have never particularly been a true crime fanatic--besides Truman Capote's In Cold Blood which is one of their favorite books of all time. In their free time, they enjoy writing and producing coming-of-age short films and collaging with vintage National Geographic magazines.
Lark (left in photo) often is inspired by coursework and research and creates art about it. She created the stop-motion video that plays during the first research essay and also a collage which can be found in the final project essay. She enjoys creating multi-media essays. She submitted the stop-motion into a local art gallery and won a third-place prize!
